Yep I’ve been taking Spanish lessons, mind you that’s about all I can say. I find it easy to speak it’s just bloody hard to remember what everything means. I’m doing a crash course in traveller’s Spanish, it only goes for 4 hours over 4 weeks but hopefully I’ll pick something up.
Only 3 more weeks left of work….woohoo. I’m vaccinated to the eyeballs, had the last cholera drink last night so that’s the end of that. Now I just need to get my act together and work out what I’ve got and what I still need to get……ah manana (tomorrow) there’s supposed to be a little squiggly
thing over the first so it’s pronounced like a ‘y’ so the work sounds like manyana but what ever. Good lord I can ramble. Get used to it peeps, coz it’s only going to get worse. Either that or totally non-existent because I’ll be having too much fun to bother sitting in some random internet cafe writing emails 🙂 I will endeavour to do my best.
For those of you who don’t know and surely if you don’t know about my trip you’ve been living on some far flung planet but I leave on 30th October and I’m going to Peru, Bolivia, Argentina and Chile for 42 days (by myself but on tour with Kumuka) and then 5 days/4 nights on Easter Island and 2 days in Tahiti. Get back to Brisbane on 20th Dec and on the 23rd fly down to Adelaide for Christmas with the family. My jet lag will be jet lagged. So yep, away for 2 months and I’m going to love it, how could I not……I’ll be in South America, how bad can it be.???
